THEY’RE NOT FROM
BAGUIO—Vice-President Noli ‘Kabayan’ De Castro takes a look at the
prices of tomatoes being sold
at the vegetable section of the Mutya ng Pasig Public Market during his
palengke tour yesterday. Prices of tomatoes rose by
P4 to P52 from P48 per kilo in a week’s time because they were sourced
from Mindanao and not from Baguio, which is
currently having a difficult time taking its vegetables down to Metro
Manila due to bad weather. Accompanying De Castro
during the activity was Pasig Mayor Enteng Eusebio (with glasss and
jacket).
