VP NOLI’S EASTER MESSAGE

As we rejoice with the rest of Christendom in the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I join our kababayans in renewing our vow to continuously work for our country’s welfare and look forward to a much better future ahead for all.

Gaya ng mga paghihirap na dinanas ng ating Hesukristo patungo sa Kanyang Kalbaryo, tayo man ay may sari-sariling krus na dinadala sa ating pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay. Ngunit sa kabila ng mga suliranin at hamong kinakaharap ng nakararami nating mamamayan ay umaasa ang lahat na magkakaroon din ng pagtatagumpay sa malapit na hinaharap gaya ng muling pagbangon ng Sugong Anak tatlong araw matapos na Siya ay pumanaw sa krus.

Unity and cooperation may only be achieved if we all reflect on our ways and decide to abandon our selfish motives. We need a change of heart…that of Christ the Savior. For our nation to be able to transcend our differences, the selfless leadership of Christ must be mirrored by our own public officials.

In the end, we will find ourselves deserving to be delivered from all the hardships and challenges that besiege us and finally reap the fruit of what we sowed, like the redemption of Our Lord Jesus.
