Coordinating Council (HUDCC) concurrent chairman Noli “Kabayan” de Castro, led the MOA signing
and Ground-breaking ceremony
for the “Cabinet Spouses 2006 GK Village” in Barangay Tabun,
Mabalacat, Pampanga last week.

take part in the ground-breaking event of
their housing project in cooperation with Gawad
Kalinga in Barangay

Under the said joint housing project between PCSFI and GK,
50 houses would be constructed for families displaced by the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. In partnership with the Department of
National Defense headed by
Secretary Avelino Cruz, another 10 houses would be erected for soldiers under the
Kawal Kalinga project.
De Castro
said the project has already raised an initial fund of P1.5 million to start the
construction of houses. The
amount was formally given to GK
during a check turnover
ceremony on the same occasion.
The MOA signing and Ground-breaking event for the “Cabinet Spouses 2006 GK Village” was graced by Mabalacat Mayor Marino P Morales, GK
Executive National Director
Antonio P Meloto, and PCSFI members Atty. Ma. Charito P. Cruz, Mrs. Soledad
L. Mendoza, Mrs. Bai Yasmin P.
Pangandaman, Mrs. Madelina Y.
Panganiban, Mrs. Alice A. Favila and Dr. Pacita P. Gonzalez.
