As latest SWS survey shows a +34 net satisfaction rating

VP HUMBLED BY PERSISTENT HIGH TRUST RATINGS IN SURVEY

Vice President Noli ‘Kabayan‘ De Castro expressed gratitude to the Filipino people after the latest Social Weather Station survey conducted from November 27-December 4, 2005 results of which were released yesterday showed that 58% of Filipinos satisfied and 24% dissatisfied with the performance of Vice-President Noli de Castro, for a Net Satisfaction Rating of +34.

Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa patuloy na pagtitiwala at pagtataguyod na binibigay ng ating mga kababayan. Sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na kinakaharap pa rin ng ating bansa, ako ay naniniwalang tayong lahat ang mananaig at malalasap din natin ang ating matagal na minimithing tunay na kaunlaran hangga’t tayo ay nagkakaisa at nagtutulong-tulong.

The Vice President also shared that the encouraging survey results would serve to inspire him even more in working for the people’s welfare and in ensuring that, in his own way, public service would truly be for everyone’s benefit.

Admitting that the trust and confidence of the people in government and its leaders, in general, have waned, Vice President De Castro vowed to always have the best interests of the people primarily considered in his decisions and choices. He hopes that in by doing so, he may serve as an example to other public servants in different government positions and regain the faith of the people in their government.

I value very much the trust reposed on me by the Filipino people and I assure them that I would always aim to protect their rights and work hard to be continuously deserving of the people’s confidence.

The Vice President also acknowledged that the sustained support of the people showed that they expect him to be always on his toes and this he is very much aware of.
