ROCO WAS AN ACE LEGISLATOR AND A TRUE NATIONALIST – VP NOLI

Our deepest sympathies and condolences go to the family and friends of former Sen. Raul Roco.
Sen. Roco is known as one of the country’s ace legislators, who consistently strived to provide meaningful and beneficial laws.
Malaki ang aking paghanga sa dating senador sapagkat hindi matatawaran ang mga naiambag niya sa larangan ng pambabatas, na siyang naging tagapagsulong ng mga mahahalagang batas na tunay na sumasagot sa mga pangangailangan ng bawat sektor ng lipunan.


He was a famous champion of women’s rights. In fact, he was named an “Honorary Woman” for authoring major laws addressing women concerns. He sought to significantly improve the Philippine educational system and advanced the rights and welfare of public school teachers. He truly shared himself with the Filipinos, using his knowledge and wisdom to come up with measures and programs that would work for the welfare of the people.


Maraming salamat Sen. Roco sa iyong buong pusong pagsisilbi sa sambayanang Pilipino.


Thank you for your unyielding mission of bringing our nation to progress and development. The Filipinos are privileged to have been catered by the service of a true nationalist.


Rest assured that your legacy will be remembered by future generations of Filipinos and your advocacies for clean and honest government and your nationalist ideas will remain our guiding principles.
